DIY: Embrace nature ♥

Hi there!

I was very inspired by the book ‘The wander society’ although I didn’t actually read it. I browsed true it. But I saw a few sentences, and it inspired me already. Today I want to take you with me, and I want to show you what i’ve been making.

So the book is all about traveling, and not knowing where you’re going. And I like to combine it with nature. I don’t know if that’s actually the idea of wandering but I like to do so. I went for a walk,  and I loved it. I collected nature, and it felt all so peaceful and right. There was now one there, it was silent, and it smelled all great.

And that was after I felt really bad, watched movies and not knowing what I was going to do. It was rainy outside, and the easiest thing you can do, is laying in bed with a movie. So I did. But after a while I was running into this video, and after I watched it, I went for a walk and decided to don’t think to much about it.

Well, when I got home I wanted to make a pretty box for all my embraced pieces nature, 🙂

and I’m going to show you, how i did it..

What you need:

  • A shoe box or something like that
  • Paint
  • Brushes
  • some pretty idea’s 🙂
  • & nature of course <3

I think I don’t need to say much about it, only, for de dragonfly I used special paint. You have to spread the paint over the picture, and really on the picture, not the back like you do with glue! You paste the paper on the box and let it dry for a while. I let it dry for 2 hours, but at school we had to let it dry for a week. So I’m not sure!

After drying, grab a sponge with a little bit water, scrub gently, and after a while you will see your image!

I’m sorry if this was bad English, but I feel like I can say things much better in English than Dutch, so I hope you can get/read over it 🙂

What do you like to do when you feel like you can spend whole day in your bed?
